Climber flow With Amy

Thursdays at Eastside at 6 PM

Amy discovered yoga almost nine years ago during a time of career change and athletic injuries – injuries that prevented her from her first love of rock climbing and running. On the mat, she found peace and healing and eventually a new way to move her body. As Amy’s practice continued, she learned to explore how linking breath, body, and mind could create internal unity and how practicing in a class could expand that unity to a community. This transformation led Amy to complete yoga teacher training at Perennial Yoga in 2023 with the aim of diving deeper and bringing yoga to her climbing and life.

Amy’s classes are dynamic and creative while remaining accessible to a range of levels. In each class, you’ll move with your breath, find stillness in movement, work your core a little, and most of all, have fun.

Yoga With DEvonna

Monday 6pm
Tuesday 6pm
Wednesday Noon

Devonna found yoga at the age of 21, seeking ways to nurture herself and carve out much-needed "her" time as a new mother. Her journey in the practice deepened upon her move to Madison 11 years ago, where she embraced the thriving yoga community and became a regular practitioner. In the spring of 2024, she achieved her yoga certification through Inner Fire, a milestone that further fueled her passion for the human body and movement.

In 2018, Devonna graduated from the East/West Healing Arts Institute, earning her certification in 800 hours of Massage Therapy. Although she does not regularly practice massage, her extensive knowledge of anatomy, healing techniques, muscles, and pressure points enriches her yoga sessions. She approaches her work with heartfelt dedication, finding joy in sharing her practice and insights about the human body and mind with others.

Devonna believes in the transformative power of healing through movement, placing high value on structure, safety, mindfulness, and attention to detail in her teaching. Her preferred styles include slow vinyasa, relaxing yin combined with meditation, and dynamic power flow. She enjoys crafting unique experiences tailored to different groups, adapting her sequences based on the changing seasons, the group’s mood, and the overall vibe.

With a deep appreciation for music, dance, nature, and art, Devonna views these elements as integral to her purpose. She eagerly anticipates meeting new individuals and exchanging knowledge as she continues to refine her skills and deepen her understanding of yoga. Namaste.

Yoga With Lindsay

Sundays at Eastside at 8:30AM

Lindsay is a dancer, yogi, and movement enthusiast. She brings a grounded approach to classes that is accessible and welcoming. Her yoga classes connect the mind, body, and spirit. Through Yoga Teacher Training, Reiki Energy Training, and Trauma Informed Healing, she learned a lot about how energy works and the different modalities of healing. She utilizes meditation techniques by guiding students through a relaxation that addresses the energy centers of the body and grounds them by visualizing our connection to earth and the Higher Realms/Source/Universe, etc. Her dance background enhances the yoga movements through adding elements of balance and play. Creativity is key and she encourages students to try something new while mastering foundational principles and postures to gain confidence. She believes it is important for people to feel good in their bodies and creates an approach to meet them where they are. She wants them to personally get something out of it, i.e. their body feels strong, their mobility has increased, their mind is clear, they sleep better, they show up more relaxed and present in their work and home life, they choose different foods, they’re more open, an idea or realization came to them. These are the things that move people forward in their lives. Join her for class!
