  • This comp is a modified redpoint and star chaser format

Redpoint- Competitors register for a skill/gender category that they most closely align with (Male, Female and Non-binary: pick whichever gender category you prefer). Competitors will be limited to a set number of problems within their skill category (Rec/Int/Adv/Open), and attempt to complete as many problems as possible in as few attempts as possible, within the time limit. There will be a "Finals Event" for top competitors in the "Open" category.

Star Chaser- A non-gendered, volume-based competition style. Competitors attempt to complete AS MANY climbs as they can within the time limit (all set boulders are included in this format with/ no exceptions). Attempts don't matter; the person with the most completed climbs at the end wins! There is no "Finals Event" for this format.

  • Pick the skill category that most closely aligns with your climbing ability.

    Recreational - Pink & Red Circuits (V0-V2)

    Intermediate - Orange & Yellow Circuits (V2-V4)

    Advanced - Green & Blue Circuits (V4-V6)

    Open - Black & White Circuits (V6-V8+)

There will be a Male, Female and Non-binary division for each of the above skill categories. Please select the gender division you'd feel most comfortable competing within.

  • The top competitors in the Open categories will be competing in Finals at 6:00pm. During finals, the strongest competitors of the event will all climb new problems one at a time to compete for prizes. Everyone else watches them and cheers them on, and it's a huge blast!

  • Metered street parking, parking garages, and other city parking are available for those traveling by car.

If possible, use public transportation, ride a bike, or carpool to the competition!

  • Spectators are kindly asked to stay off of the climbing floor at all times in order to provide adequate space for climbers to move and fall.

There are still great sight lines for viewing climbers without being on the floor- a digital camera with zoom is a particularly awesome way to get those action photos while giving space!

Spectating is free, so tell your friends to come cheer you on!
